The initial first appearance is a very dark and rich cigar with a very nice wrapper. The clip was very easy and the pre-light draw was perfect. The ash is a very bright white color that broke off very easy.
1/3: The first third of this cigar hit my palate with bursts of pepper and rich flavors of Maduro. This cigar reminds me of one of my all time favorites by Fuente. The only real issue I had was the burn; it was uneven for most of the first third. I do not like to re-light “blinds” because I like to see how well they were rolled and how they will fix themselves. The aroma is very pleasant and enjoyable; good for a morning smoke. I want to state that I do not think this is a Fuente product, but judging by the person who put this together I would not be surprised this is something completely on the other side of the spectrum…The first third is a solid 6
2/3: The second third changed a bit releasing a bit more of the sweetness of the Maduro wrapper, with subtle pepper; the burn and ash turned out to be very nice. The burn straightened out nicely as I hoped and allowed me to focus more on the flavors from this cigar. I have to give this portion of this cigar a 6.67
3/3: The final turn of this cigar was much of the same above; pepper. The aroma is still full of black pepper that erupts with each pull. Hell this could be a Rocky Patel Winter Blend, but it does not have the toasted meat aspect to its aroma. Very enjoyable smoke in the morning; I will give the rounding out rating a 6.7
This was an interesting smoke as it released many flavors I look for from a Maduro. A bit heavy of a smoke in the morning, but I am all for getting kicked hard in the morning . I will give this smoke a 6.69. The smoke, ash, construction, and wrapper were all very nice and allowed for a solid slot in the six spot of our line up from DGK!

Cigar #6 –Deep Dark Brown almost black Maduro Robusto with rustic wrapper. One prominent vein running about 2/3 to ¾ the length of the cigar. Single cap. Very little sent at the foot. Smoked on 4/2 at 1pm outside with diet Pepsi Max. Clipped with scissor without flaking.
Pre-draw had little flavor without slight spice on the tongue.
Torch lit to produce grey/black ash which held well . Generates a fair amount of smoke.
1/3 – Slight mixed pepper notes, medium woodsy notes with mild bitter dark chocolate notes. The Ash is holding well. Draw is perfect. I like the overall flavor of this cigar
Rating for 1/3 = 7
2/3 Bitter chocolate increasing along with an oak wood flavor. I am enjoying the flavor of this cigar.
Rating for 2/3 = 7
3/3 The wood notes change up a bit through this cigar ranging from a sweet wood to a smoky oak like flavor complimented by a bitter chocolate and background pepper, the burn remained fine to about a 1” nub.
Rating for 3/3 = 7
Overall a 7 on your scale. – An enjoyable smoke, bitter chocolate and varied wood flavors and background pepper throughout the cigar, I’d add these to my humidor at the right price. Reminds me of Diablo’s.
Thanks
GreySmoke….Ben

Cigar #6 is a chocolate colored, maduro robusto. It is heavy in feel and the construction seems solid. The wrapper is a bit veiny but nothing serious.
The cigar clipped with ease. The pre-light draw is good with some nice flavor. The cigar lit easily enough. Initial flavor is seems to be toasted salt.
First 1/3: The burn is pretty even and the salt flavor seems to have lessened quite a bit leaving a toasty flavor with maybe some cocoa. The cigar is almost a bit creamy now. If it weren't for the salt I would really be enjoying the cigar but for the first 1/3 I would give it a 5.
Middle 1/3: Now moving into the middle section and the initial ash has yet to drop which is impressive. The cigar is becoming a bit spicy now which is much preferred over the previous salt. The burn is staying consistant. I would say the middle would rate a 6.
Final 1/3: The flavor has stayed more consistant now with some toasty flavors and cocoa. It also has some spice on occasion. The burn has stayed nice a straight throughout the cigar. The flavor is definately the best right now. I would rate the last 1/3 at a 7.
Overall it was a good cigar after an awspicious beginning. I would give the cigar a 6 overall.

This cigar was very well constructed with a nice maduro wrapper with a touch of oil. This cigar cut very easy and the ash held out for 3/4 of the cigar.
I enjoyed this cigar from the moment I cut it until I had to put it out, because it was burning my fingers.
The first 1/3 8
The second half 8
The Third and final portion a 9
For a total of 8.5
This was my favorite cigar so far in the review.
I picked up some nice pepper and wood notes and a coffee taste. This cigar really made me happy after a long day of work. I would love a bunch of these in the "Bulls" humidor!!! Looking forward to # 7

Blind cigar #6 review
A CG/robusto with a maduro/oscuro (my eyes are playing tricks on me when it comes to size so I can't tell exactly what it is.) The cigar has moderate veins. Cutting the cigar was easy and the cigar was evenly firm. The draw was deliberate. The foot smells good with a hint of spice.
First third:
The cigar started out on the full side of medium. The ash is firm and light gray. The burn is good. The cigar is rather complex. I'm picking up leather, woodiness, and a touch of a floral flavor. Its also has a long finish. The room aroma is nothing great. I'll say that I'm enjoying this cigar quite a bit at this point.
First third score: 7.5
Second third:
This just became a "Wow!" cigar. All of a sudden it started to come together. The body has built to full and I'm getting a good dose of spiciness. Its almost buttery too. Yum. Room aroma became more pleasant. The burn isn't perfect, but doesn't require a touch up. Also, a small crack has developed in the wrapper
Second third score: 9.0
Last third:
The crack ended up not affecting the cigar. It burned fine right through it. I'm getting more of the same as the second third, thank goodness! If anything, the spice is even more pronounced.
Third third score: 9.2
Overall:
A truly great cigar. Kind of slow to get going, but once it did, BAM! The kind of cigar I wish I could smoke everyday.
Overall Score: 8.8
Shot in the dark: OK, I have to admit that my only real question is: 46 or 50? And if I'm wrong I deserve to have my stash taken away!
SVB

Final Thoughts
I bet this cigar will be even better with age...
My guess - Anejo 46...if it's not, I am stocking up on these, as they are identical to Anejos!!!
Thanks!

I'm in LOVE...this cigar was perfect. Here's a smaller version of my review.
**I smoked this cigar a few hours after eating dinner. I was outside and it was not windy. I did have a bottle of water towards the Final 1/3 of the cigar.**
I would rate this cigar a 8!!! I wet the cap, punched a hole and the cap never cracked or unraveled. This cigar was near perfect for me. The construction was flawless, as it wasn't too oily or dry and the cigar was very firm (or tight). The draw was perfect. The cigar burned evenly throughout and I could smell the aroma. The ash was white and firm and there was a lot of white smoke. The cigar remained balance the entire time, and I didn't notice any harshness. The cigar remained firm throughout.
I was sad the cigar was ending. The cigar reminded me of a Don Lino Africa, LFD or something made by Don Pepin.
I would keep these cigars in the humi and recommend them to fellow B/SOTLs. I really enjoyed this cigar.

Very firm clip on this cigar. It actually had a lot of resistance, but then the draw was perfectly deliberate, and the cut came through very clean with no loose pieces of the head left.
Initial impressions are that this cigar produces a lot of smoke! Literally billows of this were filling he patio, quite pleasureable!
First 1/3rd: 7. I am enjoying the flavors so far. I can't seem to pick out anything specific, but there does seem to be a bit going on here.
Middle 1/3rd: 6. Still happy with the flavors, but the burn has been a bit uneven. I finally broke down and used the torch to correct one of the burns-going well now.
Final 1/3rd: 6. No further burn issues-the room aroma has been very pleasant and others have commented as such. Flavors are still good-slight hot but a quick purge lightened things up.
End result: I would give this, overall, a 6.5 (can we do that?) I would buy it again, but I'm not quite sure if I would really hunt to find it. Actually, if I was in a sho that had them-I'm sure I'd pick up a few to have around.
I really did think a few of you would guess this one, and I was right. The picture is a bit misleading as the angle makes it look like a corona gorda, rather than the robusto that it is. As such, it is not a 46 but a 50. As in an Anejo 50 from a box I bought in 2005. Glad this one was enjoyable for some of you

Moving on towards #7!!!!!
By the way, I encourage post-smoking thoughts now that the identity has been revealed, especialy if you've had Anejos before (Ben, I know you aren't a fan of the 50 as compared to the rest of the line so your review was about what I expected, maybe one notch lower than I thought).

I was missing the smokey paprika that I get from most anejo's else it would have been an 8...

I am sure I just got a bad one as I have never tasted such salt on any of the other Anejos I have tried. I have a few 50s lying around so I will give it another go to clear my mind. It was just strange.

Whew! I'm just happy to know that I like what I like.
Not sure what was up with the first third for me, but it was literally like flipping a switch once it got to the 2nd third. The last 2/3rds was every bit as good as any anejo I've ever had.
I'm not writing off 50s anymore. :)

This is the first time I've had this cigar. I haven't been a fan of Dominican cigars since I started smoking Nicaraguans and Hondurans, but WOW, I really enjoyed this Fuente. Fuente 858 Natural & Maduro were the first cigars I smoked (after I moved from the rum, cognac, & vanilla flavored stage). I MUST get one of these next week for my birthday.
DGK - Thanks for including me in this!!!

Sorry for the delay David. Been busy with work and repairs on the rental condo. Burning the candle at both ends sucks. But I have almost got all the repairs done and really hate painting. hehe.
I did smoke this one last Thrusday, but got side tracked. Overall, I liked this cigar. Good flavor, good blend, great burn, lot's of great smoke. I did not peg it as an Anejo though. Overall, I would rate this one at 8.1 Thanks again David.

My Apologies, I am the last remaining hold out. I am out of town this week and didn't get a chance to smoke the cigar. I will catch up on Wednesday.
