This is a pic of some of my turnings pre ashtrays. I do plan on implimenting some of the techniques you see here into some trays in the future. The big vesse has 1495 individual pieces and took 6 months to build. We're just starting to have fun my friends.

Thanks my friend. My pleasure. I do plan on making some very intricate ashtrays and humidors in the future. Now that my LOML is a nurse and working nights(last 5 years of her in school)I have more time to play in the shop.

Very nice turnings, Bill! Are you familiar with Nick Cook's work? His studio is only a few miles from me. I met him at IWF this year and he invited me to drop by to check thinks out.

Thank you. I've heard the name before but not shure if I've seen his work. I'd like to see pics though. My inspiration was Malcolm Tibbetts and Ray Allen. Ray is deceased but Malcolm's work just keeps getting better and better.

I'm guessing I could start one in 2 or 3 weeks. Because these projects have down time waiting for glue to dry. I can multi :thumbs:task. I want to build myself a cabinet this year some time too.:jumpy:

I'm just looking for something basic but with a nice inlay on top that could hold around 100 to 150 cigars, no legs or anything just a pretty box
