I absolutely love the Tatuaje petits, I smoke them at work whenever I get a chance. The only problem is for a mini or club size cigar they are very expensive, anybody know of anything comparable to the taste profile and size of this cigar that could be had at a better price?

hey Danny.. i'm pretty picky now with small cigars and I went through about 8-10 petit tatuajes.. I liked them a lot. but if price is your number 1, I would go with the oliva g special g maduro.

I like the 5Vegas 'A' Anomaly size for a quick smoke... for the price, they are great.

I haven't had the tat petites, but I am looking at getting a tin of the CAO Italia Petits that look pretty dang tasty.

but is the oliva g special g maddy, taste profile anything like the tat. A cheap petit smoke I can find easily, Im looking for one that is similar to the tat. Its just soooo good. But for the same price I can have a good bigger size cigar.

to me the tats have strong tobacco/leather smell to them as they burned down.

the oliva maddy has a little smoother taste, but great flavor for price and size..

they are comparable, but if its strength then go with the tat..

sorry if this is confusing

Not confusing, I just didn't know if they compared or if you were making a recomandation. I just love how spicy the tats are. I guess I will just spend the money. But I will check out the olivia, which is another favorite brand of mine.

Be careful with those Italia's Ryan. I bought a brick of tins (10 of them I think) last fall. I found the draw to be much tighter than what I like. I learned my lesson now, and don't buy a bunch of something I haven't yet sampled.

For what it's worth, I keep a couple of 50 ct boxes of Villiger Export maduro's on my file cabinet for when I don't have a lot of time for a smoke. Pretty darn good for the price and a 30 min smoke tops. Besides - they don't require a humidor either, so I can pack them to work and on the road with me.

there are two different cigars. Tat brown petits and the cabaiguan petits, they are both around the same price.
